The National Postal Policy Council presented its most prestigious honor, the Laurel Kamen Award, to Postmaster General Megan Brennan. The PMG was selected for this award for her dedication, perseverance and leadership in sustaining and steadying the United States Postal Service during perhaps the most challenging period in its history. Through her efforts, notwithstanding its challenges, USPS continues to deliver six, and sometimes seven, days a week to nearly 159 million addresses and counting in the United States. In doing so, she has assured that the indispensable service of mail and package delivery remains ubiquitous and affordable not only to NPPC members and the mailing and shipping communities, but to the entire nation.
